Hendrix legacy comes to Mesa with all-star performers

Billy Cox, Steve Vai, Jonny Lang and Kenny Wayne Shepherd will revisit the music and inspiration of legendary guitarist Jimi Hendrix this week in Mesa.

Other rock and blues guitarists of note David Hidalgo and Cesar Rosas (Los Lobos), Brad Whitford (Aerosmith), Chris Layton (Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble), Mato (Indigenous), Ernie Isley, Robert Randolph, Living Colour, and The Slide Brothers will also take the stage.

The show is a production of Experience Hendrix, L.L.C., the company formed by Hendrix’s father, James “Al” Hendrix, to oversee his famous son’s musical legacy.
