LAS VEGAS - Actor Christian Slater received stitches for a cut on his head and his wife, Ryan Haddon, was arrested after she was accused of hitting him with a drinking glass during a fight in their Las Vegas hotel room, authorities said Tuesday.
Police initially reported the actor received 20 stitches, but his spokeswoman, Kelly Bush, said Slater received nine after the scuffle Monday at the Hard Rock-hotel-casino.
Slater, 34, was treated at Desert Springs Hospital in Las Vegas, where a hospital spokeswoman said she could release no information.
Haddon, a television producer, was taken to the Clark County jail on a misdemeanor battery charge, said Las Vegas police Lt. Juanita Goode.
She was released without bail late Monday, after a mandatory 12-hour detention, Bush said.
The couple married in February 2000. Slater is the star of movies such as "Broken Arrow" and "3000 Miles to Graceland."
