Liezl Stewart speaks to her laptop while sitting in a Scottsdale Starbucks.
Her Web-broadcasted show is on the air. Her smiling face streams around the world as she answers questions instant-messaged to her from around the country as well as the world. Another Wednesday chat session is under way.
Stewart’s broadcast helps promote one of her many interests, Helloworld, a company trying to get the word out.
The Web site host occasionally turns her computer’s camera toward curious onlookers.
Stewart also uses the time to promote Illegal Substance, the band with whom she sings.
She says that sometimes she is referred to as the “banana lady,” because of how she looks on the band’s video on YouTube.
