Now in its 31st year, the Scottsdale Culinary Festival is one of the longest-running such fests in the country. But it’s not adverse to making changes. The festival features 12 events that draw more than 40,000 people over six days, but the best-attended event, by far, is the Great Arizona Picnic, which takes place Saturday and Sunday at Civic Center Plaza.
