Want to add flair to your iPod? Or maybe you'd just like to pump up the sound quality? Check out these cool iPod gadgets the next time you want to pimp your beloved MP3 player.

MTX Audio recently released the iThunder, a portable boombox that comes in black, pink and white, and charges your iPod while playing its music. The iThunder — which is ideal for lounging poolside — comes with custom-fitted inserts to work with every iPod except the Shuffle. With amazing sound quality and an adorable pop-up handle, you can take this boombox wherever you go. ($150, Circuit City)

Nike + iPod Sport Kit

Nike created a pretty sweet workout companion that lets your iPod nano become your coach when you workout. The wireless sensor and receiver combination works with your Nike+ shoes and iPod nano to keep time and calculate caloric burn from a pocket inside one of Nike's specially designed shoes. ($29, jr.com)

Macally FM Transmitter and Charger

The iTrip is so two years ago. Dock and charge your iPod securely in the car cup holder with the Macally FM Transmitter which streams music through your car's FM radio stereo speakers and is powered through the cigarette lighter adaptor. The transmitter is recommended for iPod 3G, iPod 4G, iPod Photo, iPod with color display, iPod Mini and iPod nano. ($45, jr.com)

Your music comes alive when you connect your iPod or MP3 player to the miFlower — an ornamental flower with built-in speakers, an LCD face and illuminated petals. The animated flower interacts with your music and works as a digital clock. ($41, Sharper Image)

The iGuy works as a cool toy and protective case — it has bendable arms and a removable screen protector. You can also charge your iPod on the dock. Available in iGuy, iGuy nano and iGuy mini. ($35, theistore.com)

iPod Jukebox

Big spenders should check out the soon-to-be-released iPod Jukebox. The jukebox — which is sure to add some flair to your digs — features a vintage look with a universal docking cradle for all iPods. It also has an FM radio, CD player, LED lighting system, a 6-inch subwoofer and remote. You're sure to be the talk of the neighborhood with this system. ($700, available in October)

Crosley iJuke Miniature iPod Jukebox

If $700 is out of your price range, the 18-inch mini jukebox may be a better financial fit. The iJuke resembles a 1950s jukebox and uses the universal iPod dock adapter. It also makes an unusual accessory for your desk. ($250, Linens ’N Things this fall)
