Don Rickles’ Jan. 12 appearance at Casino Arizona has been postponed. The masterful ad-libber known as the “King of Insults” will appear instead at 8 p.m. Feb. 17 at the The Showroom at the Loop 101 and McDowell Road location.

Rickles, famous for an uncanny ability to ad-lib rather than deliver a set stand-up routine, performed in showrooms in Atlantic City, Reno, Lake Tahoe and Las Vegas for years before appearing on Johnny Carson’s “Tonight Show” in 1965.

Since then, he’s had his own sitcoms on ABC and CBS, hosted television specials, guest starred on TV shows and acted in numerous movies.
