Canadian youngster Justin Bieber is already a pop sensation. Now, the 16-year-old with the famous coiffure is poised to become a movie star; the film “Justin Bieber: Never Say Never (In 3D)” opens in February.

Fans of the tween idol can compete Saturday in Tempe for a trip to the movie’s Los Angeles premiere. Radio station 104.7 KISS FM and Paramount Pictures are inviting teens ages 13-17 to perform karaoke-style the first 90 seconds of Bieber songs “Never Say Never,” “Baby” or “U Smile.” The winner gets a trip for four to the movie.

An application packet on the radio station’s website has full details; download it and bring it, along with a legal guardian and proof of age, to the contest.

>> The Justin Bieber fan contest will take place noon to 2 p.m. Saturday at the District Stage at Tempe Marketplace, 2000 E. Rio Salado Parkway, Tempe. First-come, first-served registration begins at noon and is limited to the first 50 fans ages 13-17. Free. (602) 374-6000 or 1047kissfm.com (keyword: BIEBER).
