Gates will fight for all our children

Bill Gates will fight for public school children. Steve Yarbrough hasn’t. As state senator, Yarbrough has looked out for private schools. At the same time the Legislature was voting to slash

K-12 education funds. Yarbrough pushed legislation to divert substantially more state income tax dollars to private schools.

Yarbrough owns a big school tuition organization that keeps upwards of 10% of income tax dollars diverted to private school scholarships. It enables him to get a $96,000 annual salary and benefits in several other ways from what the Republic called “an egregious conflict of interest.”

I’m going to vote for Bill Gates for state senator in District 17.

He’s a Vietnam war veteran who is a straight shooter when it comes to ethical standards. I’ve known him for years. He’ll make a great state senator.
