2012 State Legislature Election Information
The Arizona state legislature consists of the 60 members of the Arizona House of Representatives and 30 members of the Arizona State Senate.
Both the Arizona House and Senate hold elections for all seats every two years, with 2012 marking the first election since districts were redrawn earlier this year using data resulting from the 2010 U.S. Census.
Primary elections are scheduled for Aug. 28, 2012, with the general election following on Nov. 6, 2012. Winners will be sworn in the second Monday of the January following the election (Jan. 9).
