"As Arizona celebrates its centennial, our legislature has failed to honor the values that founded our state: hard work, common sense, and accountability.
Born and raised in Phoenix, my mother taught me the importance of service, and committing your life to causes bigger than yourself. We need a new legacy for Arizona, one based on sound ideas and the principle that our families and communities come first.
As a two-time Iraq combat veteran and veterans advocate, I've led the fight to protect our nation and help my fellow veterans rebuild their lives upon returning home. Here in our community, I helped ASU become the 3rd-most veteran supported campus in the U.S.
As your representative, I'll help build a solid foundation for our economic future by protecting our schools and working with local businesses to help create jobs. And I'll lead the way for more responsive government, by holding politicians accountable and putting the interests of voters ahead of special interests.
I'm running to help build my home into the Arizona we know it to be. Let's make our next 100 years even better: by electing strong leaders who will fight for inclusive, common sense solutions to move our state forward."
