Good government is critical to the well-being of our state, county and east valley communities. However, as a result of unwise policy decisions we have been hit by a severe and ongoing economic crisis. The continuous political bickering and finger pointing has not improved the situation, but has only made it worse. There comes a time when citizens can no longer just sit back, they must stand up and take action.
After long and careful consideration and with the support of my wife and family I have decided to run for the office of County Supervisor. The impact of Maricopa County’s decisions affects the lives of every person living in the valley. The county’s critical role in public safety, education, clean air and water, taxes, growth, and most importantly jobs, are all areas within the responsibility of our County Supervisors. I am not a politician; I am a husband, father and businessman, and have been actively involved in our community for many years.
It is crucial that our elected officials understand what it takes to accomplish important goals for our community. My background and experience have prepared me to serve as your County Supervisor. You have my word that I will work hard to represent you in a fair and honest manner. We must restore trust in our county government.
Please let me know what is important to you. Your comments and suggestions are essential in making Maricopa County a better place to live, work and raise a family. If you have questions, concerns or opinions that you would like to share with me, please do not hesitate to email me at Denny@BarneyforSupervisor.com.
