Every candidate running for office in Chandler should agree on a few main priorities. We need jobs along with clean and safe neighborhoods. We value public safety, and we know education is critical. Public transportation
will help our community move, and good streets, quality libraries and great parks are simply part of what makes our community one of the best.
There is one issue that makes everything else possible. It is good budgeting. I want to work for sensible government spending while preserving the quality services that have made Chandler a Great Place to Live and Work. This may sound easy, but time and again we see examples of government entities losing their way when it comes to managing the money they are entrusted to spend.
Chandler will continue to develop and improve for many years to come. It is important for us to remember that long after we have moved on there will be members of the community working hard to make the changes that they believe will make Chandler better for us all.
I want to be sure that we are Chandler’s good stewards of today paving a path for the leaders of tomorrow.
