The Fountain Hills Chamber Players, in collaboration with Frank Lloyd Wright Taliesin West will present a “Festival of Chamber Music” at Taliesin West in February. Each program in this three-concert series will showcase a different area of chamber music.
The opening concert, on February 9, will feature music for wind instruments, with compositions by Mozart, Poulenc, Debussy, and Alexandre Tansman.
The second program, on Feb.16, will be made up of works for string instruments by Haydn, Beethoven, and Borodin.
The final concert, on Feb. 23, will mix things up with a combination of the two groups of instruments and include music by Prokofiev, Francaix, and Piazzolla. Also on that program, the audience will be treated to music for voice and guitar by Brio Flamenco, an Arizona ensemble specializing in Spanish flamenco music.

The Fountain Hills Chamber Players, a group of professional and dedicated musicians with the mission of bringing quality classical chamber music to their audiences, is affiliated with the Fountain Hills Theater. They delight in finding and performing old and new music representing a variety of composers, musical eras, and styles. The final concert of their regular season will be Sunday, March 10 at 3:00 at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church in Fountain Hills.
