Qwest residential customers can make free long-distance calls
from landline phones to Japan through April 10 to help locate and
speak with loved ones there in the aftermath of the earthquake and
tsunami.
International calling plans are not required, and residential
customers do not need to call Qwest to request this service. Some
customers may see charges for calls they have already made based on
their billing date. Costs will be adjusted based on customer
requests.
