Gas prices in Arizona fall almost 3 cents

Arizona gasoline prices have fallen to a three month low of just $2.72 a gallon for unleaded regular.

Officials with Triple-A Arizona say that is down three cents from the week before. The national average on Thursday was also $2.72 a gallon, a drop of a little more than four cents from last week.

Tucson had the lowest gas price in Arizona at $2.62 a gallon, while Flagstaff had the highest price at $2.90 low and high fuel averages at $2.622 and $2.896, respectively.

Missouri has the lowest price in the continental U.S. at 42.47 a gallon, and California the highest at $3.02.
