Banner Health Center to hold series of heart-related events

Banner Health Center is showing its dedication to preventing heart disease through a two-month long series of events, including; classes, dancing and walks.

The first event is a free webinar by local doctor David Patchett to talk about the basics of heart health. The webinar will be Feb. 20 and start at noon. To register go to BannerHealth.com/Webinar.

Next, Banner will celebrate the Day of Dance on Feb. 22 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at its Gilbert, Maricopa and Surprise locations. Local exercise and dance experts will be on sight to talk about heart health through fitness.

Lastly, starting on March 1 people can participated in the weekly Walk with Doc event, which leads up to the Heart Walk on March 29. The Walk with Doc events will be held at the Gilbert, Maricopa and Surprise locations, and attendees will start with a half mile walk and work up to the 3.1 mile walkathon. They can also interact with local doctors and experts for more information.
