Nine votes! Hardly a good sample. But this question reminds we of when I sat in the office of Sheriff Joe's attorney listening to how he would be ressurecting his client from his numerous fauxpas. Looks like we are about to go through all of that once again.
Where Sheriff Joe tries to characterize this as a criminal fraudulent misrepresentation, I can hear his attorney telling him that he lacks standing to bring civil suit and prevail against the State of Hawaii in Federal Court in Honolulu. So Sheriff Joe states that Maricopa County citizens were defrauded, this so that either our County Attorney or State Attorney General will hop on board the Sheriff Joe crazzy train! No thanks, Sheriff Joe. Neither of these men are that dumb!

Right now, as things stand, the overwhelming evidence points to obama being an illegal-occupier of the whitehouse, who has committed felonies and treason against the citizens of the USA.
Remember when nixon said, "People have got to know whether or not their President is a crook. Well, I'm not a crook. I've earned everything I've got."
Well, now obama needs to answer this same question. To start with, it would be nice if he would supply us with a REAL birth certificate...

80 votes and only 25 [36%] think Joe has made any contribution to fulfilling his mandate to enforce law. Looks like 65% will be voting Joe out into that pasture!
WinstonCourt, take a read on this story in the Arizona Republic. Their take is not nearly as generous to Sheriff Joe as is our Liberal, left leaning East Valley Tribune! Looks like its the crazzy train for you!

I saw an interview with some " document expert " and she claimed that in order to analyze the bc it would be necessary to examine the actual original document.
That looking at photocopies and copies that had been transmitted and re-transmitted was useless.
And, she's right.
Anyone with an anti-Obama agenda can fuss with copies and make new ones that you can't tel one from another when just seeing pictures over the nit.
And, as so many people have observed, in order to pull off such a forgery so many people would have to be in the know and keeping quiet.
The two newspapers, the hospital, all the medical people from his birth, all the government agents involved in making a false copy and planting it, the people in charge of the records who allowed the agents access to the files.
There literally would be hundreds of people involved at some stage or another.
You really really believe all those people are going to keep it quiet when they could collect millions of dollars for blowing the whistle and providing proof of the forgery?
The radio talk show hosta would set the up for life and the Republican party would set them up a second time.
Anyone who blew the whistle could spend the rest of their life in the Caribbean.

Interesting finding by the volunteer cold-case posse team and arguably ones:
1.) The purported long-form birth certificate for Barack Hussein Obama, Jr. released and published last April on the White House website is a computer-generated forgery.
2.) The date stamp used on Obama’s Selective Service Card from 1980 was not one used at the time.
3.) Records of Immigration and Naturalization Service cards filled out by airplane passengers arriving on international flights originating outside the United States in the month of August 1961, examined at the National Archives in Washington, D.C., are missing records for the week of President Obama’s birth, including the dates Aug. 1, 1961 through Aug. 7, 1961.
Take Sheriff Joe’s word. This investigation is NOT over . . . Even if it takes a “forensic scientist”.

Since his presidency is almost over, we need to spend more time on focusing on the future. Our country is falling apart and if we, the voters, don't get our act together, this will all be a moot point, since there won't be much of the USA to mess up anymore. In November, we must vote out every one of the incumbants and do the same every election until they get the message that they better represent us instead of the thieves and bribers (lobbyists).

I am no expert, hardly even an amateur, regarding the so called computer analysis of a computer generated photocopy of a birth certificate, but I know a little about evidence. This "evidence" is so flimsy that no intelligent, objective person would base a conclusion one way or another on it.
Of course, those who fabricated and and those accept the so called "evidence" want to believe that Obama is not a citizen and are too deluded to be objective.
Obviously, neither I nor the fabricators can be absolutely positive that Obama is a citizen, but there is some reasonable credible evidence to support that conclusion and not a shred, not a scintilla, of credible evidence to the contrary.

"...and not a shred, not a scintilla, of credible evidence to the contrary." Actually there is, or was, on the White House blog. The pdf copy of Obama's BC has been altered, at the very least. If you work with Adobe, and know how, go prove it to yourself. It took almost three years to get an altered peek? I'm not drawing a conclusion on either side here. But I will say that I don't know for sure where Obama was born and that shouldn't be the case. Something is wrong here, what, I can't say, maybe just a minor embarrassment, my BCs are so messed up I'm not sure when my birthday really is. Maybe something bigger. Should Joe handle it, probably not, he can't catch a cold in a blizzard. But I do think a little transparency is in order, seems someone promised me that.

Are you implying that the time to have vetted President Obama was when he was running for the Presidency, not after he was elected? Surely the time to have vetted Sarah Palin was before she was nominated [or rather picked by McCain, then nominated].
In 2008 we have a choice. Vote for Barack Obama, a relatively new person on the national political scene, and Joe Biden, a well respected almost old time politician or John McCain, also well known and liked as a moderate and Sarah Palin, the unknown youngster whose reputation was dubious at best.
In 2012 it looks like we will be choosing from a narrowing field of candidates no conservatives especially like and President Obama, who just might squeek on by with a slowly recovering economy. His likely field of opponents can't settle on a set of issues that they don't stumple over.

In fact with this latest 'birther' (dice game), he might even get thrown under the bus. It is decade(s) of war, the ravaging of an economy, the shifting of phantom 'wealth', Do you really think he will survive it?

Rich, why do you conclude that President Obama's re-election is tied to the price of gas? Sure, it's becoming a major component of our cost of living! But where we come to understand that speculation on the future's market is the leading cause of price increases, that demand and supply, either domestically or world wide, is such that traditional economic theory should have kept it low, are you and I and other thinkers supposed to be taken in by the likes of these crude oil speculators?
You ask if I really think President Obama will survive these events. Yes, but if and only if we Americans wise up to what forces are at work to thwart market forces. No, if we Americans stay dumbed down.
So the real question is "Do we think we are smart enough to spot forces largely beyond the Administration's singular control and influence, listen to what the President's plan is to oppose those forces, and follow his lead to meet and destroy them?" I have faith in the American People. However I know that such faith is totally misplaced! We aren't that smart! We have never been that smart.
TeaPartyPatriot, your movement's financers, the Koch Brothers, are crude oil futures speculators. They have an excuse of sorts. They do produce some product, but not enough to justify the size of the positions they take in the futures market. And the Koch Brothers have taken you in!

But to answer your false and incorrect assertions, NO, I do not expect our economy, whether under Republican or Democrat leadership over the next 10 years, will improve much. Recall, I explained to you that I was taught Reaganomics by it's chief architect, Murray Wiedenbaum. After classes, I discretely challenged his assumptions about "trickle down" economics. I aced his class, he went on to be Reagan's chief economics advisor, quit in disgust when he realized that Reagan did not believe in Reagonomics, and most recently retired from his position as head of his economics department.
The underlying assumptions of Reagonomics were dubious at best. And as time marched on, the conditions which were asserted to justify those assumptions changed gobally. I was correct, Murray was wrong. And neither our current crop of political leadership, Republican or Democrat, have a clue as to what to do. The one closest is President Obama. But my time horizon for possible recovery is 15 years at best. It is these global changes which we are facing now, facing and failing to respond appropriately to meet.
Your assignment for this week is to look up and report [citing references] a short definition of Markism and a separate definition of Socialism. Don't try shooting from the hip. It will show! If this is too demeaning a task for you, try explaining Reaganomics! I'll allow you to shoot from the hip on this one, knowing that it will show!

About 255 votes now. Sheriff Joe is stuck at under 35%. Where 65% think his actions are senseless for one reason or another, Joe is toast and is well on his way to becoming fodder for the the pasture floor.

320 votes and Arpaio has finally surged ahead [by one vote] of those who think he's incompetent. We still have a few [85 or 27%] who see him as grandstanding and/or full of it.
Hopefully tonight's Super Tuesday results will give our editors something else to poll!
