Money has always bought our politicians and our elections. Nothing new here. By the way, the only reason they do get away with it is the very simple fact that Americans are so divided by political beliefs that we will never again get most of us to cooperate and compromise on anything. Our divisiveness has ruined our once great nation and the slime at the top know this. Divided we fall.

    Agreed. On both posts.

Since " Corporations are people, my friend" they should be voting soon. But they'll have to show ID!

Again I must ask why, why would we want to elect a corporate profiteer to the head of our government? Seems it would only worsen this scenario. Obama 2012 !

Okay, so there is widespread belief that the Supreme Court decision was a dangerous disaster. But how many of those people will remember that when they are voting for a new Senator this year? In the next four years we'll lose at least 2 justices - probably more. If the country doesn't give control of the Senate to Democrats, we can expect more of the same. Think about it!

The Supreme Court decision that allowed this marks the end of democracy as we know it and the beginning of corporatocracy.

It makes it completely legal to buy politicians.

Now dollars will be counted instead of votes.

What is the next step? Letting corporations actually VOTE? Giving them so many votes per thousand dollars net worth?

It's a shame that Supreme Court Justices can't be voted out.
