An East Valley native, with a bachelors and masters from ASU, Ben Arredondo is committed to the preservation and improvement of our communities. His experience in teaching, coaching, and extensive community service as a school board member, ten years; county supervisor, two years; and Tempe councilman, sixteen years; have taught him it takes the cooperation of many to effect positive change. He has demonstrated leadership, bringing diverse people to action and positive results serving his constituents. As your LD17 House Representative, Ben's goal is to develop a state budget and complete the legislative session in a timely fashion with responsible discussion. His priority is to continue to advocate for youth and quality education, preschool through university. Also critical to our state is the recruitment of good paying jobs by encouraging new technologies, research and green industries to locate in Arizona. Additionally, he will see that Arizona provides public safety for all the people of our state.

Ben has been endorsed by many organizations including the Arizona Education Association, Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce, Realtors of Arizona, Arizona Pipe Trades and International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Arizona Hospital and Healthcare Association, Arizona Bankers Association, the Arizona AFSCME People Conference, Grand Canyon Sierra Club, Arizona Farm Bureau, the Professional Fire Fighters of Arizona, the Tempe Officers Associations and the Arizona Correctional Peace Officers Association as well as many civic leaders and citizens of the district he hopes to represent.
