Arizona election officials say a company listed as the source of mailers in the Nov. 8 recall election of state Senate President Russell Pearce has not made required disclosures.
The four mailers criticize Pearce and favorably describe challenger Jerry Lewis, and the Secretary of State's Office says it appears Citizens United for Progress should have registered and reported its spending.
A letter sent by the office Tuesday requests information from an attorney listed as an agent for Citizens United for Progress. It was incorporated in August and has a Tempe address.
The attorney, Steven Hirsch, did not immediately return a call for comment.
The mailers are another questionable tactic in a race that already saw another candidate withdraw rather than face renewed scrutiny of Pearce backers' support for her candidacy.

Carolyn, it is the STATE that says the Lewis campaign is dirty.
Lewis accused Arpaio of dirty tactics by running a " shame " candidate but it turns out his own house in not clean. His campaign people HAVE NOT filed the required disclosure reports because they DON'T WANT YOU TO KNOW who is putting up the money for them.
They will probably file them at the last minute so voters don't get a chance to find out who is Lewis's puppetmaster.
You say " how dare " Arpaio but the question now is ... how dare Lewis accuse Arpaio of dirty campaigning when his people have flauted the law and failed to file disclosure reports.
Look for the truth about who is behind Lewis ... pro-illegal business people who want to employ illegals and hispanic organizations who want their entire tribe to be able to flow across the border without papers. Parraz is a name you should become familiar with. Lewis certainly is.
Remeber ... Cortez filed BEFORE Lewis.

Carolyn and Mesan, maybe you two Kool-Aid drinkers think it's okay for Parraz, who does NOT live in our district(LD18), to meddle in our affairs, but I sure as heck don't. Parraz has been nothing but deceptive when asked to disclose who was backing his recall drive. He has yet to produce any financial reports or make a full disclosure as to just exactly who is behind his recall because if you know the real Parraz, then you know that he's not doing this because he really cares about the illegal aliens.
I saw the now in the garbage mailers sent to some of my neighbors, and they are nothing but garbage. The fact that Parraz and his hand picked boy, Lewis, have not been forthcoming about who paid for them, as well as breaking the law by not filing financial reports, doesn't surprise me at all.
I did some lengthy due diligence about Jerry Lewis's background, and let me tell you, he's no saint, especially when it comes to his work background, and I have to wonder why he's even a Mormon bishop. The dishonesty you see being exhibitied by Parraz and Lewis today, is exactly the same type of dishonesty that would be going on if Lewis were to be elected.
It's a matter of fact, that Senator Pearce's efforts against the illegal alien invaders, have and are continuing to help clean up LD18. The big cuts to education you Parraz lovers falsely claim were done by Pearce is a HUGE LIE. In fact, it was the state legislature working together to balance the state budget, that only reduced funding to education by 1.5%, that's all. At a time when our country is continuing to feel the effects of a deep recession, coupled with massive job losses and home foreclosures, in addition to a huge deficit left to us under the poor leadership of former Gov. Nappy, I think Senator Pearce and our state legislature have done an excellent job of turning things around.
To all you Parraz puppets from outside our district, pretending as though you live in LD18 and are disgruntled with Senator Pearce, do us all a favor and go play out in traffic on a major freeway. You morons aren't fooling anyone.

Thanks are in order for Senator Pearce's vision and leadership for our reported improvements in our stat's economy and fiscal health, but the pro illegal alien and reconquesta factions as well as our own socialist federal government could still harm our progress. Vote for Pearce if you want to see our state flourish.
Ariz. budget picture improves amid warning signs

PHOENIX (AP) — Arizona's economy and fiscal health are improving, but there are several significant unknowns ahead and one near-certain big budget problem looming for state government.
Tax collections last fiscal year were above expectations. That erased a projected shortfall and puts Arizona on track to be hundreds of millions of dollars in the black in the current fiscal year.
Lawmakers will debate whether to spend or sock away the additional money when they work on the next budget during their next session.
Budget analysts warn that short-term wild cards exist amid the slow economic recovery.
Those include possible reduced federal funding for states and lawsuits that could undo some budget cuts.
The looming problem will be the $1 billion of annual revenue lost when a temporary sales tax increase ends in 2013.
If Lewis gets in office I wonder how bad our economy will be down the road.

Carolyn doesn't care who this guy is or what he does as long as he beats her much hated Senator Pearce. She hates him for the same reason La Ratza and they rest of the pro illegal alien people do. He is their Anti-Christ and must be defeated at any cost. It's a wonder some one of them hasn't tried to assassinate him yet.

1) Lewis committed fraud against Arizona by falsifying the number of students at Sequoia Schools, which he used to manage until the State forced him to resign. Lewis asked Joy Christian, doesn't take public funds, to have their students log on to Sequoia to inflate the number of students.

Jerry Lewis has disclosed his campaign finance Report and it reveals the “bulk of Lewis’s money came from inside Mesa” and that “Educators, attorneys and accountants were big donors”. It is true that the motel business is invested in Lewis along with Vestar Development Co.. Most of the donations came from inside District 18.

What is even more interesting is that Attorney General Tom Horne is said to be more interested in the "flyers" announcing that Cortez has dropped out of the race than he is concerned about the validity of the Cortez campaign to begin with.
