The Senate voted 18-12 Tuesday to require one person in the gubernatorial line of succession to miss the State of the State speech and other major events.

Sen. Judy Burges, R-Skull Valley, said having everyone in the same place is an invitation for disaster, with the chance of a single incident wiping out anyone legally entitled to become governor. SB 1503, which now goes to the House, would require one person to be taken at least 35 miles from the Capitol under police protection.

Stupid waste of time and taxpayer money.

That's easy, the succession in Arizona is Tweedle Dee to Tweedle Dumb.
