Sarah Palin has no intentions of running for a U.S. Senate seat from Arizona in 2012. Her intentions on the U.S. presidency, however, are still unknown.
The former running mate of Sen. John McCain in the 2008 presidential election told KNXV-TV in a brief interview Friday at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport that she has not considered a Senate candidacy in Arizona.
"That's not what my plan is, no," Palin said. "I haven't really considered that at all. ... You have some great senators here."
Arizona Sen. Jon Kyl is not seeking re-election in 2012. Speculation about Palin's interest in his seat rose when she recently purchased a part-time home in Scottsdale.
Palin, the former governor of Alaska, told KNXV-TV she was just in town to "thaw out" for the weekend.
Palin's daughter, Bristol, has also recently purchased a Valley home in the city of Maricopa.

Good! We already have enough fools like Phil Gordon in Arizona politics we don't need another idiot.

The timing must be off. Because the senate term coincides with the presidential, she would not be able to resign to run for president. She is so dedicated to basic values, family virtue, and non-mean spirited people that she does not want to disappoint all the wonderful, gutsy, and truly patriotic Americans who want to hear her speeches, read her books or just see her. Those who want transparency in government should love her, as she is so easy to see through.
