Excellent speech. Mr. Conservative, Chatman002, VofReason, and MNJCPA, listen up! The facts recited are true and the message is clear. We need someone willing to stay, work and repair the economy NOT someone who wants to raid and run.
Since coming to this board all I have heard from the "factless 4" named above is "talking points" meaning that you do not actually parse an issue, choosing instead to repeat what Hannity, Rush or other conservative mouth pieces want you to repeat. Pay attention! Wake up! Your way is not the only way. More importantly, your way is fatally flawed.
We can take 1 issue at a time if we must. I am willing. You pick it. Any issue. But, then let's debate FACTS not opinions. Chatman, it is okay if all you do is regurgetate other websites in your response (apparently you have been called out on this many times) but just admit they are not your own words and be prepared to defend them because they may be wrong.
VofR, you seem willing to listen, to a point. Open up your mind a bit more please. Recently, you challenged climate change arguing it is not fact. Really?
MNJ, you seem dead set on liberterian principles. Good for you. But, don't get conclusory in your arguments. Be willing to discuss the ins and outs of the various philosophies before simply saying, "Well, let's agree to disagree."
Finally, Mr. C. (or perhaps Leon or MNJ), you are beligerent. Admit it and let's move on.
I sincerely hope each of you watched the entries speech last night and will consider watching tonight.
