What a joke...is this the best the GOP can do?

Juggernaut80000,
No, it's not their best. It's Romney's best. Where the President is beginning to pull ahead in the polls, his lead may subside for a few weeks. But once voters come to digest Paul Ryan, the President's lead will increase.

Romney: I want a CEO type who's had executive experience -- Ryan, no executive experience.
Romney: I am an outsider -- Ryan, his entire career in politics, in D.C., since he was 25.
Romney and Ryan: No foreign policy experience, even less than Obama/Biden -- Romeny in the hands of the same neocons that mired us in Iraq.
Romney and Ryan: Both want dramatic tax cuts offset by closing loopholes -- except neither one of them will tell us which loopholes.
Perfect.

It makes no difference who's on the ticket. If the economy keeps tanking, by November the populace will vote for anyone but the people in office. Americans vote emotionally, never intelligently.

I think that the voters will see Romney and Ryan for what they are: snake oil salesman. I think that most people will realize the damage that these two would do to the average American. I think that most people realize that Romney/Ryan are in this to represent the rich, not the average, hard working American. I think that most voters will realize that the economic problems of this country started before Obama took office and that the Republicans have done everything they can to keep the economy in the tank in order to reacquire the White House. At least I hope that they do.
