  "Cattey wants to establish scholarly commissions on immigration and on the economy, then enact what's recommended."

  Just what this country doesn't need, more "scholars" sitting in a room, telling the rest of us how we should live. Hey, maybe they can put those scholars down at the border and let them "talk" the illegals to death.

  ONE THING YOU CAN SAY FOR THIS...."INDEPENDENT"....CANDIDATE....HE DOESN'T WANT ...TITHES OR ENVELOPES IN THE SUNDAY COLLECTION BASKET AFTER MASS FROM THESE..........ILLEGAL ALIENS....LIKE ...OTHER CANDIDATES DO.

  Tommy Cattey has filed paperwork with election officials and has gathered about 100 of the 621 signatures required to get on the November ballot. He was heard to say, "I'm not Pearce either"

  In fact, the major theme of all candidates running against Pearce is going to be, I'm not Pearce.

  Lewis, who pioneered the phrase, I'm not Pearce, was also heard to say, "I didn't vote for SB1070 either"
