'Arpaio Watch': New ABC series aims to monitor Sheriff Joe

ABC News is launching a new series , "Arpaio Watch", aimed at monitoring civil liberties in Arizona and the actions of Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio.
ABC News is partnering with Univision to keep an eye on how the policies of "America's Toughest Sheriff" affect the Latino community, according to a report from TV Newser .
Arpaio faced accusations of racial profiling and discrimination against Spanish speakers during a lawsuit filed in May by the Justice Department.
His routine immigration patrols have also drawn criticism from the Hispanic community, who has accused Arpaio's deputies of systematic profiling and bias.

I guess the liberal/progressive MSM is on an anti-Sheriff Joe campaign. Nothing like the fourth estate trying to influence an election. I wonder if the liberal/progressive media is as willing to hold the president and his people to the same standard they want to hold Sheriff Joe. Apparently not....

How about they do a show that follows around 3 families of illegals collecting benefits, getting free education(with extra help for the English learners), free medical care, food stamps, WIC, welfare, etc. and estimate the impact on the taxpayers of AZ.
And don't forget the scholarships and in- state tuition for those college age kids.
Oh, and make sure you don't show one getting arrested. Illegals don't commit crimes. They are just hardworking folks seeking a better life. Just not in Mexico.

ABC has so much time on their hands. Why don't they follow Obama to see exactly why he is not attending his daily presidential briefings? Perhaps because he is too busy playing golf, playing basketball, and watching sports on TV? And where was ABC when Obama was caught lying about the terrorist attack in Libya? Why aren't they reporting this? Much better use of their idle (or is that "idol"?) time.

PhxVato, I'm not surprised AZ was labeled that. It will take all of the people who outnumber the vocal angry few to vote and change this place. Mayors, business leaders and education officials are finally speaking up about the people who live here are not majority racist or hateful.
