TUCSON -- Safeway, Inc., has built a memorial at its Tucson supermarket where six people were shot to death and Rep. Gabrielle Giffords and 12 others wounded.

Safeway announced it had completed the memorial near the spot where the shooting happened on Saturday. Sunday marks the one-year anniversary of the shooting.

Safeway Phoenix division president Dan Valenzuela issued a statement saying the company wants to make sure the shooting site remains respected.

Spokeswoman Nancy Keane says no formal ceremony was held.

The memorial was built in a landscaped area next to the store entrance. It consists of a large granite boulder circled by six smaller granite boulders. The circle of boulders represents the six lives lost and the larger one the wounded and "Tucson's unbreakable spirit."

I remember well how the LIEberals in this stae and nationwide did their worst to tie this act of a madman to Sarah Palin and the Conservatives. No evidence was ever presented for this scum charge by scum sub-humans.

LIEberals are traitors to all that is good about America.
