Former Arizona Supreme Court Chief Justice Ruth V. McGregor is joining the faculty of the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law at Arizona State University.
School officials said Friday that McGregor, who retired from the bench last year, will direct a new program that focuses on the interplay of local, state, federal and international governance.
She will help lead the Project on Federalism and Separation of Powers in a Global Era, to be housed in the College's Center for Law and Global Affairs.
McGregor also will teach a course on human trafficking next spring and co-convene a conference on that topic with O'Connor, a retired U.S. Supreme Court justice.
