Bashas', Food City and AJ's grocery stores in Arizona are collecting donations at cash registers to help victims of the Wallow Fire. The partnership with The Salvation Army will feed evacuees in shelters.

"One hundred percent of these donations will help aid the victims of the Wallow Fire through the different stages of our disaster relief efforts," said Col. Joe Posillico, Southwest Divisional Commander.

Since June 2, 2011, more than 1,400 meals have been provided to the community by The Salvation Army, with many more expected.

Bashas' family of stores has been assisting firefighters and affected families in the area with bottled water, Gatorade, ice cream and meals since last week.
