Everything in this story is going to happen. Theproblem we face is that too many kids are going to have eight careers at walmart, mcdonalds, target, kfc, the local strip club, head shop, kmart and circle k. Someone has got to wake kids and their parents up so that they value and crave education.

Renzulli, Brewer, and the others are quite in depth in their astute dissection of the problem and solution, however, schools fell short 20 years ago, and are now paying the price. When we stopped teaching students how to be parents we planted the seeds for this generation's growth. So, be proud that we saved dollars by cutting back those ridiculous classes (which were promised to be taught at home, at church, and elsewhere), because the young parents today do not know how to work with the schools to help their children grow, learn, and behave.

All wonderful ideas...great new concepts...fantastic "out of the box" thinking......the only thing wrong or should I say...."missing"....in the discussion was the......800LB GORILLA IN THE ROOM...that none of these Liberal education experts wanted to acknowledge or talk about......
THE HUNDREDS AND HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS OF ARIZONA'S EDUCATION BUDGET THAT ARE STOLEN FROM "LEGAL" ARIZONA-AMERICAN STUDENTS AND GIVEN TO ILLEGAL ALIEN STUDENTS AND THEIR ANCHOR BABY SIBLINGS.
I have seen "mind-blowing" estimates of up to $100-$200 and even... $300 MILLION DOLLARS that the hard-working Arizona tax payer is forking over to educate the student-citizens of Mexico, Honduras, El Salvador and Guatamala.
How many more teacher'salaries would that pay for ???
How many more computers would that pay for ???
How many more classroom supplies would that pay for ???
As for our Community Colleges...how many tens and tens of thousands of "Arizona education dollars".....are shelled out for.............ETHNIC/LA RAZA STUDIES ???
Now Mr. Editor, you tell me how are Ethnic/La Raza Studies going to prepare our Community College students to find a job or prepare Arizona's young men and women to enter the workplace or prepare themselves for "multiple-career changes ???
How is being taught that America has subjugated/decimated/denigrated/demeaned your race or ethnicity since the Pilgrams bounded ashore at Plymouth Rock going to help you get a job ??? If you want to read about these subjects..go to the library...you don't need course after course after course being taught by a professor from Cal-State LA or UC-Santa Cruz or Davis...from a book authored by an Italian/Brazilian Communist who revered Che Guevera and the Cuban Revolution.
High-born rhetoric is fine in a Shakespeare play but we are not talking about little Hamlets or little Juliets........if these so-called "education experts" are serious about solveing the problems in Arizona's educational system the lets put "everything" on the table....everything.
