Glendale Police arrested a man after finding explosive devices in his car.
Randall Coover, 47, was taken into custody in the 5100 block of W. Pershing Avenue after police received an anonymous phone call indicating that Coover was trying to go to the home of his ex-girlfriend against whom he had made previous threats, police said.
Officers, including a bomb technician, located Coover at the residence of his ex-girlfriend and found him in possession of an incendiary device, which is a prohibited weapon under Arizona law.
The device was a plastic bottle filled with gasoline, with a hole pierced in the lid. Three more similar devices were located in Coover's car. He was booked on 4 counts of Possession of a Prohibited Weapon, a Class 4 Felony.
