Fiesta Troubles
The Fiesta Bowl offices were temporarily closed Wednesday, May 11, 2011 in Scottsdale, Ariz. when a ruling came down from the BCS presidential oversight committee to let the Fiesta Bowl remain part of the system for deciding college football's national champion. The Fiesta Bowl will be allowed to remain part of the Bowl Championship Series, though it must pay a $1 million fine for apparent illegal campaign contributions and inappropriate spending. This is absurd. If all these elected officials were guests of the Fiesta Bowl, they have no obligation to repay anything. The Fiesta Bowl is looking more like a band of fools with and without John Junker.

This is the funniest thing I've seen in a long time. Fiesta Bowl handed out money and now they're acting like the recipients took it under false pretenses. Unbelievable. They should lose their non-profit status for that alone!
I remember a time when people would have been ashamed to even try something like that. Today, it's normal.

What part of taking these tickets and more being illegal don't you republijerks understand. ILLEGAL. They cannot accept these "gifts." ILLEGAL. Read the law, you ignorant clowns. ILLEGAL.
