Hmmmmmmmm...the Goldwater Institute and Scottsdale....Boy, talking about ...."PREACHING TO THE CHOIR".
You have to ask yourselves...how many thousands and thousands of dollars did each of these two "policing experts" receive for their speeches.
William Bratton, a former Los Angeles "SANCTUARY CITY" Police Chief preaching to Arizonians on "IMPROVING" our Law Enforcement procedures. Excuse Me................NO WAY....here's why.
"In March 2008, Jamiel Shaw Jr., a High School athelete was murdered walking home from school by Pedro Espinoza, an Illegal Alien gang member. Espinoza thought that Shaw was a rival gang member. According to Los Angeles Police Chief William Bratton, his Police officers did not check Pedro Espinoza's immigration status after a recent arrest for alleged assault and was released from custody only one (1) day before he murdered Jamiel Shaw Jr. At the time, Los Angeles Police were under "SANCTUARY CITY" restrictions on asking whether a suspect was in the United States legally or not.
Why...we should ask ourselves would a prestigious body, like the Goldwater Institute and the wealthiest city in Arizona pay to have "policing experts" from West Coast and East Coast mega-cities like New York and Los Angeles. These two cities have completely different policing problems from the Arizona and Phoenix....and pay through the nose...at that????
