(AP) — The Phoenix Coyotes have recalled forward Kyle Chipchura from the Portland Pirates of the AHL.

Chipchura signed as an unrestricted free agent on July 19 and appeared in Phoenix's season opener against San Jose on Oct. 8 before being sent down to Portland.

He had four goals and two assists in eight games with Portland and leads the Pirates with three power play goals.
