(AP) — Arizona football coach Rich Rodriguez has named three assistants to his new staff and all have direct ties to his previous tenures at Michigan and West Virginia.

Rodriguez announced Monday that Calvin Magee will serve as associate head coach and offensive coordinator, Tony Gibson will be the Wildcats' secondary coach and Tony Dews will be the receivers coach.

All three resigned their jobs at Pittsburgh last weekend.

Magee was associate head coach and offensive coordinator at Michigan under Rodriguez from 2008-10 and was running backs coach from 2001-07 at West Virginia for Rodriguez.

Gibson was assistant head coach and defensive backs coach under Rodriguez at Michigan and defensive backs coach for West Virginia from 2001-07.
